Sopwith Camel - plastic kit Eduard 1/48 scale

In 2021 Eduard released new 1/48th scale kit of the legendary British fighter Sopwith Camel.

This series of kits was introduced with the premiere release under the name Camel & co. as LIMITED EDITION DUAL COMBO with a set of plastic parts and accessories for two models. The kit offers decals for 10 planes including two fictional markings of Camels flown by the legendary Capt. James Bigglesworth. It is made from moulds produced in Eduard's tooling shop based on own 3D design.

Eduard Camels will be available as usual in the following editions:

LIMITED EDITION, containing plastic parts for one or two models, a decal sheet for 10 to 12 machines, pre-painted photo-etched parts and masks for air brush. In some cases, the kit also includes additional parts produced by casting or direct 3D printing.
ProfiPACK, containing plastic parts, decal sheet for five to seven machines, pre-painted photo-etched parts and masks for air brush.
WEEKEND, containing plastic parts and decal sheet for four machines.

The kits are accompanied by separately sold photo-etched metal accessory sets, resin accessory sets in BRASSIN range and 3D SPACE decals. Most of the accessories in the BRASSIN range are made by direct 3D printing. The basic plastic model can be upgraded with the above mentioned accessories.

In the coming months and years, we will be releasing additional versions of the Camel in all three of the above kit lines: Sopwith F.1 Camel with Bentley BR.1, Gnome, Le Rhône and Clerget engines, shipborne Sopwith 2F.1 Camel and last but not least, the night fighter Comic.
