I recently completed the Fokker E. V 1/48 scale model. I thoroughly enjoyed making this model. The cockpit was very detailed, even though when complete, most of the cocpit is not visible. But I know it is there. I did take one liberty. I reversed the color scheme, so that the nose cowling is yellow, the next section black, followed by another yellow section, etc. The reason for my deviation is that I felt the yellow cowling would be more vibrant. But the primary reson is that if you alternate the black and yellow colors as shown on the box, the German cross on the body is placed mostly on the black portion of the body and does not show well. On my model, it is primarily on the yellow section and stands out much better.
